Almost all good trade shows host a variety of talks, seminars and expert panel sessions as part of the appeal of attending.
At a busy exhibition centre like Londons ExCel, the turnaround time from an empty hall to a space ready for exhibitors is nothing short of miraculous.
We arrived at the venue at 08:30 and the walls of our arena space hadn't been built. The area was marked out, and the carpet went down. Then the shell contractors started building the walls.

By lunchtime the exhibition crew were finished, and they left us to get on with building the stage, set and installing the screen.
We were in rehearsals with the presenting team by late afternoon, ready for a prompt start the following morning when the exhibition opened.
Talks that take place within an open exhibition hall need a properly considered sound system to ensure presenters can be heard above the inevitable noise and background clamour coming from the main exhibition space.
For this space we deployed six loud speakers to make sure that every member of the audience was seated close to one of them.
We also used hand held microphones to ensure maximum volume from the speakers on stage without risking the PA system squealing with feedback.
We also needed a very bright projector to keep the screen content easily visible despite the high levels of ambient light.
Apart from that though, it was just another day at the office.

The London Biotechnology show had a strong blue and red branded theme throughout, and the colour scheme was followed through on everything from the carpets to the signage. We added branded microphone flags to follow the theme
This simple and inexpensive branding opportunity can add your brand to your audio system, and all the photo, video and streaming opportunities that accompany it.
The microphone just drops into the open centre core, and gives a powerful branded look for your next panel session.
