Another high profile conference event. This time the Convention of the North at the wonderful new Spine building in Liverpool.

This straightforward live stream out to YouTube was technically as simple as it gets.

The room had permanently installed cameras and microphones which we tapped into and mixed, before sending it straight out to YouTube.

It was a day of panel sessions including keynote by

Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP.

The North was represented by a gaggle of Mayors including Tracy Brabin- Mayor of West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Liverpool City Region mayors Andy Burnham and Steve Rotheram, as well as North of Tyne mayor Jamie Driscoll.

The Venue was in the 12th and 13th floor meeting spaces in the the recently opened Spine building. Costing £35m to construct, the 200,000 square foot, 14-storey building, is one of the highest in Liverpool at 500 feet above sea level. The views were certainly spectacular from where we were.
