A freestanding screen is a cheap solution, but unfortunately it looks it.
The addition of a curtain kit can help, but for most smaller conferences, some kind of flat set is the simplest way to dress the back of your stage for a professional branded look.

Traditional stage backgrounds, or sets, use wooden flats and of course you can choose to add your company logos. This can be printed on to Foamex boards, or perhaps your logo is better created by using Polystyrene 3D cut out shapes, but either way mounting them can be difficult and time consuming and of course there there is always the risk of something falling off.
Without doubt, the best way to create complex Graphics is to have your set design printed onto fabric and then wrapped onto the set.
As always the first step is planning
You need to establish how big your set needs to be.
Remember to allow clear access for fire exits, and if you're using rear projection you'll need room behind the set
Then get your graphic designers to draw up suitable artwork you need to add in a bleed which means oversizing the design by about 150mm all round, to allow for the fabric to be pulled over the frame and fixed in place
If you're projecting from the front you can choose to have a framed projection screen fitted onto the set

Alternatively you could use the fabric wrap itself as the screen surface, and providing your base fabric is white, just have an unprinted area that's the right size for your projected images.
Your printer will always provide proofs for you to sign off, but wide format printing is quite specialist and it will require a fair bit of notice, so this needs to be done well in advance of your event
On the day the crew will roll out your design, fit it tight onto the frame, and then push it up into position ready for the show
Adding lighting can really make the colours pop, and once the projectors are set up, you're ready to wow your audience with an eye-catching and professional looking presentation
