New LED Lighting stock for Confidence Digital

The summer months are always quiet in the Corporate events sector, which gives us a little free time to do some of the things that will make a difference when times get busier.

One of those things is to overhaul our rental stock, and one of the areas we have focussed on this summer has been our lighting stock. We have now upgraded to LED lighting throughout our stock, and have invested in the ADJ Encore range, including both the FR50Z soft spot and the larger FR150Z.

Set wash battens in the form of the ADJ Encore UB-9H, and room uplighters in the form of the ADJ Encore LP12IP Par cans.

To reduce installation time we also invested in the Chauvet D-Fi wireless DMX control system, meaning we no longer have to run long cables from the control console to each fixture in order to turn it on or off.

Why LED?

Purely because it uses around 50%- 60% less power than traditional alternatives!

This means they don't get hot, they don't need heavy power cables or dimming equipment, so the installations can be much neater. And of course, as they use much less electricity, they do less damage to the planet.

We recognise that we work in a wider industry that can be very wasteful. Live Events are often ‘one off’ projects, and there are aspects of putting on a high impact show that is not always the most 'sustainably focussed'
