With corporate events the clarity of speech is all important.
We sometimes have to deliver in venues with challenging acoustics, and with presenters who sometimes aren't that confident speaking in public or using a microphone.
We have to get clarity and volume, without the squeaks and squeals of acoustic feedback.
It has to look neat and tidy,
It also has to be compact and lightweight enough to be transported efficiently, and set up quickly.
To give your sound engineer the best possible chance in this unforgiving environment therefore, you have to provide him or her with the best equipment available to achieve consistent results, event after event.

Many many summers ago, I bought my first proper PA speakers. This was back in my 'rock 'n roll' days, providing bands with their sound systems, long before I worked for corporate customers.
At that time, I was firmly of the opinion that American loudspeaker manufacturer JBL, sounded better than other alternatives around at the time.
They had cleaner more defined highs, and tighter more controlled lows. So I invested in JBL-M series. It wasn't cheap, but it was the right decision
They were big and heavy, and sounded amazing in the smoky pubs and sweaty clubs of 1990's Sheffield. My customers agreed, and my reputation in the tight local community of indie, folk and rock bands was forged by the sound of my JBL rig.
Some 30 years later I found myself faced with the challenge of buying loudspeakers again. So much has changed, and the marketplace is wider than ever. Yet after listening to, and using, so many alternatives, my opinion on the best loudspeakers for the job has remained consistent.
Confidence Digital is proud to own JBL's PRX-900 series for its primary PA system.
JBL says of the PRX-900:
It's next-generation compression drivers with poly-annular diaphragms and neodymium magnets provide clear, detailed high-frequency response even at maximum volumes. Image Control Waveguides provide optimum beamwidth and directivity. Next-generation woofers with ferrite magnets deliver smooth, natural bass response, and an FEA flared port design reduces air noise and distortion."
All sounds very technical and exciting. Well it does to me. Perhaps I should get out more?
The bottom line is that Confidence Digital has invested in a superb sounding, compact and very powerful full range loudspeaker in the JBL PRX-908 for all our main PA needs. It has truly superb top end and naturally provides vocal clarity, even in difficult reverberant rooms.
It has an on board feedback exterminator, making it easier to get rid of those pesky squeaks and squeals, even when presenters are using tie clip radio mics. and its on board class-D amplifier is powerful and lightweight, making the cabinet easy to install.
Of course, if we need even more power, to play out some exciting walk up music, impactful video content, a DJ set or even a live band for the evening event, we can supplement these with our PRX-918XLF active bass bins. This would give us a total of 6000 Watts of sound. More than enough to fill any room.
